About The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association - KSSSA
The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) is the agency responsible for organizing and managing secondary school games in all counties across Kenya. These games take place twice every year, during Term One and Term Two. The objective of the national games is to nurture the talent of youth aged 13–19 years.
The games include a wide range of sports such as soccer, basketball, hockey, volleyball, rugby 15s, handball, athletics, swimming, netball, and more. KSSSA is fully supported by the Ministry of Education.
KSSSA Background
- KSSSA is the umbrella body for all secondary school sports under the Ministry of Education.
- All public secondary schools participate plus private schools.
- KSSSA has been running the games since the 6o’s
- Always voted in the top three sports associations in the annual sports awards – 2014 Winner
